Electronic Door Hold Open Application

 If you have a situation where you want a door to remain open but per the Fire Marshal the door opening is fire rated and requires positive latching which means door must stay shut for life safety. Here is your solution, an electronic hold open that mounts to the face of the door and a junction box on the wall which is tied into the fire alarm system so that once the fire alarm goes off the magnet releases allowing the door to shut and preventing the fire to travel room to room. There is always a way to have what you want, you just have to always dig a little deeper. |
